It was born from sunny days on the beach, from the sea and from the trips shared by Mariana Delgado and Rita Soares. The secret is no longer the secret and Cantê is today a way of being, of living the original and of making a difference. Since 2011, the two have transformed youthful spirit into exclusive bikinis, trikinis and swimsuits, exploring the detail and creativity that comes from the unique combination of colors and patterns. From Portugal comes the inspiration, the quality production and the longing to see summer come again. From collection to collection, success has come hand in hand with the adventure of two friends who are not afraid to take risks and open doors to the world, taking the "cool" spirit of Cantê to other places. |
MADE IN PORTUGAL We chose to continue to produce in Portugal in factories that work ethically, not only to stimulate local production but also to ensure a less environmentally damaging production. |
OUR PRINTS The process of sublimation through screens or cylinders requires a large amount of water. The printing company we work with is also looking to have more sustainable processes, having reduced by half the use of water in the dyeing process. |
OUR FABRICS Our sustainable technological fabric, made of regenerated Nylon ECONYL®️ that turns waste problems into fashion and interior solutions. It is twice as resistant to chlorine and tanning creams and oils as other fabrics. |
OUR CARE We give a new life to leftover fabrics from previous collections and use them to develop prototypes for new collections, linings for the interior of accessories and for packaging the bikinis in each collection. We also exchanged our old paper packaging for tote bags, which can be reused for other types of everyday use. |
PROCESS Our vision for the futureWe work in the textile industry, which is one of the most responsible for polluting our planet. Therefore, we are always attentive to ways and practices on how to reduce our environmental footprint, have transparency in the supply chain and the values we practice, as well as choose partners who share the same mindset. |
